• Premium quality A/B grade 'naked' plywood wooden base & barrels, beautifully hand finished and sealed to provide a glossy wipe clean hard wearing surface with visible wood grain
• Heavy 43cm glue laminated slab style base is 45mm thick to provide a solid base and superior rigidity
• Specially made industrial grade heavy duty tube with a 10mm thick side wall provides strength, rigidity and stability
• Oversized chunky 13cm diameter scratch pole wrapped in 100% natural finest quality 'A graded' light coloured sisal rope, read more
• Rope is compression wound and tightened by hand to obtain a tight wrap with no gaps
• Rope is attached to the post all the way up - guaranteed not to unravel - EVER!
• The rope starts and ends inside the post so there are no vulnerable ends
• The fully removable plush machine washable cushions provide comfort with over an inch of super soft luxurious wadding and are available in over 30 colours. Cushions attach to the barrel using hook and loop pads (velcro) and can be easily removed for washing.
• Enclosed barrel snugs each feature a curved sidewall with a neutral coloured special non loop pile carpet on the outside and a hygienic wipe clean surface on the inside. Each can be turned to change the position of the openings.
• Small rubber feet add traction when in use on hard floors as well as carpets
• All metal fixings for maximum rigidity and reliability for years to come
• Option to upgrade and add colour to the wooden parts

All soft furnishings are handmade in house at ScratchyCats and can be finished in a wide range of colours as shown below.

Extra Charge - Wood Colour Options

All plywood parts will be finished (sealed and protected) in their bare natural colour (light beige) as standard. You can choose to upgrade and add colour to one or more of your plywood parts for an additional charge per coloured part. We don't paint the wood as this would hide the natural beauty of the wood. Instead, we tint the wood to add colour whilst retaining the wood grain and natural beauty. Once colour has been added, the part is sealed and protected to provide the same glossy hard wearing finish. Prices for colouring parts varies according to their size, as each piece is coloured by hand. Click here for a price list for colouring the wood.

As with any piece of wooden furniture, exposure to sunlight can fade/discolour the wood.

Postage and Packaging

Please be advised that this is a bespoke handmade to order piece of quality cat furniture. This is not an item held in stock as each individual part is made especially for you. The lead time for this cat scratching post is approximately 2-3 weeks, but can be longer during busy periods. We will always confirm your order via email and give you an estimated completion date.

Due to the extreme size and weight of this large piece of cat furniture, we are currently only able to offer postage to the UK mainland. The postage and packaging for this large cat tree layout is priced at £16.69 and is delivered to you in multiple large, heavy boxes. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and areas outside of the UK mainland will incur an additional charge (please contact us for details BEFORE placing your order for an accurate quote).

Purchase

Due to the price of the high quality furniture board we use to make our Ultimate Series now being well over £100 per sheet - it's no longer possible for us to make these products at a sensible price. We are therefore being forced to rethink this range, and will be launching an alternative range soon.
