EXISTING CUSTOMER ORDERS If you have an outstanding order with us that was placed in December - your order is in progress and will be delivered very soon. Full tracking and delivery information will be emailed to you at the time of dispatch. Here at ScratchyCats - we build cat scratching posts, cat trees and towers and all things 'Scratchy' at our Devon workshop every single day. Sometimes, things can get a little repetitive so it's nice to do something totally different every now and again.
We love it when customers ask us to build something a bit unique and unusual - so we jumped at the chance to build a bespoke tree house for one of our customers.
The initial brief was simple. To come up with a cat tree that looked like a tree house - "Please go to town I am open to a funky tree house design something a bit unusual shape wise."
So with a fairly open brief and a rough requirement for the size of the tree house we set to work at sketching out some ideas. Whilst our daughter was in bed I took the opportunity to use her felt tip pens and the initial concept was born. We sent the sketched design to the customer for approval and it was an instant hit.
We then began work on making the tree house from scratch at the workshop. On this page we'll share photos of the finished project as well as some photos of the build process.
