We loved to be challenged here at ScratchyCats™, so when a customer asked us to build them a forest themed cat tree that the cats could have lots of room to climb, jump, play and scratch - we jumped at the chance!

With a basic brief regarding available space for the cat tree and a budget - we set to work coming up with various different ideas.

After a few variations of the design, we settled on a final version and set to work turning the sketch into a reality. Below are some photos of the finished cat tree forest along with some photos taken during the build process followed by the cat tree being enjoyed by the customers 4 cats.

Built for a Savannah F2, this scratching post needed to be big, heavy and rock solid. We made a lattice style MDF framework inside the post to give it maximum strength and rigidity. To say this was a lot of work is an understatement, but just look at the result!

This is a fully bespoke, custom cat tree made exactly to the dimensions and specifications supplied by the customer. Features a huge 60cm x 80cm base, 3 flower shaped platforms and a large 60cm wide toadstool platform.

Here at ScratchyCats™ - we build cat scratching posts, cat trees and towers and all things 'Scratchy' at our Devon workshop every single day. Sometimes, things can get a little repetitive so it's nice to do something totally different every now and again.

We love it when customers ask us to build something a bit unique and unusual - so we jumped at the chance to build a bespoke tree house for one of our customers.

The initial brief was simple. To come up with a cat tree that looked like a tree house - "Please go to town I am open to a funky tree house design something a bit unusual shape wise."

This is a custom version of our Ultimate Series SC-U13 cat tree. This one was painted satin black using our non-toxic cat friendly paint. To compliment the look, we also wrapped the curved sidewall of the barrel snug in the same white fleece with black paw prints that we finished the beds and cushions in. We also added another barrel cushion on top of the barrel snug.

This is a custom version of our Ultimate Series SC-U30 cat tree. This one was painted in 2 different shades of gloss pink using our non-toxic cat friendly paint. On this occasion - to closely match the paint to the colours of the fleece, we mixed our own paint colours. To compliment the look, we also wrapped the curved sidewall of the barrel snug in pink fleece.

This is a fully bespoke, custom cat tree that we designed to fit a narrow space for our customer. With a maximum width of just 45cm, the customer didn't want any 'overhang' - meaning that no other part of the cat tree was to exceed 45cm. The finished design stands at 150cm tall and features 2 oval shaped beds facing inwards and 7 scratching posts in total.
