Since we began creating the finest furniture known to CAT back in 2011, we've worked incredibly hard to design, develop and build a range of high quality, robust and long lasting cat scratching posts, cat trees and towers. Each and every product we sell is handmade by us at our workshop in Devon, Great Britain - they always have been and they always will be! That's why we're more than happy to stand by our high quality craftsmanship and offer a warranty with every single product we build and sell.

The warranty commences from the date of purchase and the duration of the warranty varies depending on the product as follows...

  • The Original Range - 1 Year Warranty
  • The Themed Range - 1 Year Warranty
  • Made to Measure - No official warranty (contact us for details)

The ScratchyCats™ warranty covers your product in the event of a breakage or manufacturing defect and gives you the peace of mind that your product has been built to last. In the event of a breakage, (and assuming the T&Cs have been met) we will replace the damaged part under warranty at no cost to you and no delivery charges. We reserve the right to refuse a warranty claim if we have reason to believe that the damage was not as a result of normal and acceptable use or that the damage is what we determine to be fair wear and tear.

What do we consider to be fair wear and tear?

  • Damage to the sisal rope caused by scratching including fraying, splitting, tearing and malting
  • Discolouration of the rope and all other parts caused by light and sun damage
  • Pin holes and piercings in fleece covered parts caused by claws
  • Damage to the wood caused by claws
  • Damage to the carpet caused by claws

Warranty Terms and Conditions

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase for the original buyer only and non transferable. The warranty DOES NOT cover:

  • ...damage caused by misuse (not being used for its intended purpose) or accidental damage.
  • ...damage caused by weather or as a result of being outside (all our products are for indoor use only).
  • ...products that are used in a commercial/professional setup (such as catteries).
  • ...damage caused by incorrect assembly or as a result of not following the assembly and maintenance instructions.
  • ...damage caused by incorrect washing and cleaning procedures.
